Kim Schonek and David Pilz Attend Conference in Brisbane, Australia

In September, Monitoring Coordinator/Project Manager Kim Schonek and Project Manager Davíd Pilz attended the 10th Annual International River Symposium located in Brisbane Australia.  Kim presented the results of her Masters Thesis work creating a 10 year monitoring plan for the Middle Fork of the John Day River. Davíd shared a poster outlining some of the obstacles to instream flow restoration inherent in western water law and provided practical advice for navigating through these challenges.

Kim and Davíd’s trip was made possible by generous support from OWT’s Board of Directors, from OWT, and from the help of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.

David's report on the conference can be found here.
